Whilst do get the occasional great surf day here at Boscombe, Bournemouth et al, there's nothing like hanging out in warm clear waters knowing that everyone else back home is donning their 5 mils and swearing.

The first (i.e. easiest) place to start this quest/odyssey are the Canaries and that means planning and that means a pub - I call the Moose Ashley Cross.

Thursdays at the Moose means 241 burgers (they are excellent) - £6.50 each and there's a Happy Hour too.
