Remodeled, but with some improvements and some not-so-bright ideas (the entire place is now a fire hazard and every table has a candle, there is a glass floor directly in front of one entrance that becomes a skating rink when wet.. that sort of thing).

But the high tables by the bar work really well now there is no standing (so no shoving in the back so I can relax) and the new staff are brilliant.

So - a few beers and maybe some snacks - no special offers but at least:

• We can pay cash
• We can sign in without the app
• There is efficient and friendly table service
  
• There are no time slots

..so the Ox has not forgotten what it is, despite the makeover.
