From 2018.

Most Expensive Property In THE WHOLE WORLD.

You'd think it would stop me moaning about how I can't afford a flat on Sandbanks Road.

But it won't.

I'm looking at Jetsurfing for the summer as well as a Zapcat - the boards cost around €10k so the boat is a better option as its more social but it's still worth exploring - here's the group if you are interested bit.ly/3ippwfM

Phil Fast forward to 2 hours 45 in for the incident that ended up holing the Americans. Huge upset as the UK is in the lead - we haven't won the America's Cup it since its inception 1851. (Aus 4 times, the Swiss twice). bit.ly/35QUo3P Loading content, please wait. 1 week ago

Well with Boscombe just having been voted in at 33 in the top 50 worst places in England to live (here's the full list bit.ly/3hQRfWq), I thought I’d take a look at what people said about Bournemouth (bit.ly/3oj70rL), Boscombe (bit.ly/3qb5skj) and Poole (bit.ly/2JRLb3u) and it seems a theme... Flat calm in Poole Harbour today - I thought I'd found somewhere peaceful to stand by the water viewing the family hordes in Whitecliff Park from a safe distance as Parkstone Bay Marina is closed until the 4th (but the gate code doesn't change).

And it was for all of five minutes until along came The...

If you've looked at the surf forecast and wondered why the stars shown are different colours, then this Saturday Night & Sunday Morning's forecasts for Bournemouth are a really good example of how that works.

In the screenshot below of Saturday's surf forecast (from MSW here bit.ly/34rxijN) it's showing...

Phil Just to add - this is what an MSW [email protected] primary swell with a SSW 19 gusting 30mph cross-on translates to at Bournemouth pier. This was the windward side; a South South Westerly is the prevailing wind which is why you'll generally see surfers on the east side of the piers. 1 month ago

Things are starting to happen on sewage pollution front recently.

Over 100 MPs have signed up to support the Sewage (Inland Waters) Bill due to be read in Parliament by Right Hon. Philip Dunne MP on Jan 15th 2021.

I have contacted my local MP Sir Robert Syms on a couple of occasions about the...

Beautiful day with decent sets coming in all the way along the coast. Surfers are still clustered around Bournemouth pier but there are quite a few pockets of little rubber men spread out West of Boscombe

A while back, DEFRA declared the whole of Studland Bay a Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) to protect the flora and fauna (most notably sea horses tho I haven't seen any).

It seems they are pulling a dangerous dogs act by suggesting all ocean sports may be banned from the area (in reality intending to...

After a disappointing surf session (wave separation around 14 minutes is a tad excessive), shiny red bicycle and I went to toast the pre-lockdown sunset by (not in) Parkstone Yacht Club.

I haven't been inside PYC since March - many, many rules have been put in place that are only selectively...

Surfing off Sandbanks and Branksome beaches was a disaster yesterday - 5s separation, steep drop ins and a fast buildup was way more than I could handle - even getting put past the break on a relatively large board was exhausting

Sandbanks is trickier as it has more closely spaced rocky groynes and...

In case anyone is curious about what the four cruise liners look like up close, you can pay to take a two and a half hour tour around them from a boat out of Mudeford (bit.ly/2HE7Xdz) or you can check them out on VesselFinder.com and not spill your tea.

The tour costs £20 - see...

I'm thinking of writing a few ocean sports travel articles in lieu of actually going anyway as I'm rather attached to my lungs but I really don't want to see them.

These will be public to help with traffic and promote the club so I will try and keep my opinions to myself - on that front I may...

Well that was excellent and we all had a bloody good time – it was really impressive out there – huge powerful waves with the pier providing wind and wave shadow making it so easier to get out past the break; much fun. I left Phil on the water purely because my car was on two-hour parking. That’s... Show more
